The Incoming Europe initiative organized by the Brunello di Montalcino Wine Consortium has come to a close. The project brought more than 40 wine educators, journalists, importers and trade professionals from key Northern European markets, including Germania, Denmark, Sweden, Finland and the Baltic countries, to Montalcino.
The program was dived into two sessions, held in May and June. While maintaining a common structure based on introductory seminars, tastings and winery visits, each session featured different wineries, offering participants the opportunity to explore the diversity of expressions of Brunello di Montalcino.
The incoming program enabled participants to deepen their understanding of the denomination directly in its place of origin, exploring the unique characteristics of Montalcino and its wines.
