THE BRUNELLO DI MONTALCINO WINE CONSORTIUM MEMBERS’ MEETING HAS ELECTED THE NEW BOARD OF DIRECTORS.

The Brunello di Montalcino Wine Consortium members’ meeting has elected the new board of directors. In one of the most attended meetings ever, the 181 voting companies (a share equal to 85% of the consortium members) elected the 15 members chosen from 37 candidates, a record number in the history of the denomination. The New board of members for the next 2025-2028 will be as follows:
- Alessandra Angelini (Altesino, new entry)
- Giacomo Bartolommei (Caprili)
- Alex Bianchini (Ciacci Piccolomini d’Aragona)
- Fabrizio Bindocci (Il Poggione, presidente uscente)
- Maurizio Bogoni (Ruffino)
- Alessandro Brigidi (Casanuova delle Cerbaie, new entry)
- Andrea Cortonesi (Uccelliera, new entry)
- Andrea Costanti (Costanti, new entry)
- Cristina Mariani-May (Banfi)
- Ermanno Morlacchetti (Marchesi Frescobaldi)
- Giovanni Neri (Casanova di Neri)
- Fabio Ratto (Antinori, new entry)
- Adriano Rubegni (Podere la Vigna)
- Bernardino Sani (Argiano)
- Angelo Zannoni (La Fortuna, new entry)
The convening of the new board of directors for the nomination of the Consortium's top management, starting with the presidency, is expected by the end of May.
