The winery was founded on 1971, starting to bottle on 1988. Since that time the effort has gone into the search for the maximum ratio between the characteristics of the vineyards with wines that are bottled. This gives rise to the two wines (Brunello and Rosso di Montalcino) with their immediately recognizable characteristics.
About 10 hectares of clay soils and limestone, from which we get fruity fine and elegant wines; the other 15 ha are of alluvial soils with large amounts of minerals, river pebbles and ground rock, from which we get more structured, powerful and full bodied wines.
The vinification, in stainless steel, is followed by the aging in French oak from 225 lt of 24 months for the Brunello and 12 months for the Rosso di Montalcino. To follow, the bottle aging.
